Fashion week makeup during the show ready-to-wear Fall-Winter held in Milan, Dolce & Gabbana presented a collection footprint world of fairy tales: Enchanted Sicily (Sicily enchanted). The magical inspiration creators took backstage life through the work of Pat McGrath, artistic advisor of Dolce & Gabbana Make Up.

During the Milan Fashion Week, designers Dolce & Gabbana have made a splash with a collection entitled “Sicily enchanted” Many fashionistas were present at the forefront of the parade to see the meticulous work of the designers. Monica Bellucci and Bianca Balti, in particular, were the part. In addition looks magical, we watched a very cool makeup to complete the vision of the creators, Pat McGrath, makeup artist has created a makeup giving the impression of “enchanted beauty” Most of the work has been done on the skin and eyes. The Complexion

For a perfect base with a uniform complexion, makeup applied Perfect Luminous Liquid Foundation with the Foundation Brush. She began by creating a consistent basis with a single color fading in the center of the face outwards until the product is fully based at the hairline and jaw. She then applied a lighter color around the eyes and on the forehead, nose, cheeks and chin for a luminous finish. Finally, it defined the contours of the face using a light touch of blush on the cheekbones in N-u-d-e.

The Look

Eye level, Pat McGrath applied light shades of Eyeshadow Quad in Desert over the entire eyelid, then the new Perfect Mono-Cream Eye Colour (latest innovation Dolce & Gabbana Makeup Eyeshadow in mono). It will be sold at the end of June. Easy to apply with fingertips or a brush, this creamy eye shadow helped to accentuate the intense and dramatic effect with a velvety powder finish.

The perfect make-up artist used Mono Cocoa in the hollow of the eyelids for more depth, and then mixed shades Innocence and Gold Dust to illuminate for eye contours, Pat McGrath defined the upper and lower lash lines using the Eyeliner in Black from the center to the outer corner of the eyes. Along the upper lash line, she drew a thin line of Intense Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black to complete the look. Below, it has redefined the lower lashes using the Eyeliner in Black. Then Eyeliner in N-u-d-e was used to illuminate the inner corner of the eyes. On the upper lashes, of Intense yes Intense Black Mascara layers were applied, while Terra Passion eyes Mascara was used on the lower lashes to curl while giving them volume. The alliance of the two mascaras creates freshness while expanding eyes.


Eyebrows are a key element of the look “enchanted beauty” of the AH collection. Using the new Liner Brow Soft Brown, Pat drew elongated eyebrows by spreading the color with the brush tip, then brushing outwards towards the end of the eyebrow. The eyebrows are well defined with a natural finish.


On the lips, Pat McGrath applied the new Classic Cream Lipstick in Honey fingertips for a sophisticated nude effect. Then a hint of Perfect Luminous Concealer has been allocated over the lips to standardize and illuminate, before applying the finishing touches to the center of Shine Sheer Gloss in Acqua. Finally, Pat McGrath spent a thin layer of Pressed Powder.
