Home Remedies For Dandruff – 1. Honey
Honey has antibacterial properties and proves to be an effective remedy for dandruff and itching. Dilute one tablespoon of honey in a cup with lukewarm water and massage well into the scalp. Let the honey work for at least an hour or overnight. Then wash your hair as normal.
2. Baking Soda As A Home Remedy For Dandruff
Baking soda is a means with numerous uses and also helps against dandruff! The natural remedy has the ability to relieve the itching and reduce dandruff. Make a thick paste with baking soda and a little water. Gently massage it on the wet scalp and then wash it with a mild anti-dandruff shampoo.

The active ingredients of garlic kill bacteria and fungi. That’s why garlic can reduce dandruff and prevent hair loss. Prepare a hair mask of 3 finely chopped cloves of garlic and 3 teaspoons of olive oil. The olive oil ensures that the stressed scalp calms down and the itching subsides.
Massage the paste into the scalp. Try to ignore the strong smell and let the garlic paste work for at least 30 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with shampoo. To neutralize the garlic odor, you can then neutralize the hair with a solution of water and lemon juice.
