We draw arrows on drooping eyelids: life hacks and tips

Some people are born with drooping eyelids. Some people get more closed eyes as they age as the skin around them starts to sag. These folds can create problems with makeup. For example, eyeliner can hide in folds around the eyes, smudge, and transfer to other areas of the eyes. But there are ways to draw arrows on the drooping eyelid even with your eyes closed!

Tip #1: Relax your eyes

Draw arrows for a drooping eyelid without raising the eyebrows and without stretching the skin. Of course, with eye strain, the surface will become smoother and more comfortable to work with, but when the eyelids return to their natural position, the created arrow will become invisible or shifted.

Tip #2: Fine lines

Arrows on drooping eyelids should be thin. For best results, apply the eyeliner in a thin line as close to the lash line as possible. Applying more products also increases the risk of it getting into other parts of the eye, so make sure your application is clean and neat!

Tip #3: Use sustainable products

Constantly smeared arrows on the drooping eyelid are a problem. But you can solve it by using a permanent eyeliner that does not smudge.

Tip #4: Don’t be afraid to draw the line

Look straight, and don’t be afraid to run and stretch the eyeliner along the lower lash line to create a cat-like effect. Use the tail of the brow as a template, sweeping the eyeliner upwards and outwards until it meets the tip of the brow.

Tip #5: Make arrows on the overhanging eyelid one at a time

Complete one eye before moving on to the next. This will help to achieve the overall symmetry of the image and will give an example of what needs to be repeated on the other eye.

Tip #6: Don’t be afraid to make mistakes

In case of an uneven line or other mistake. You can always use micellar water and a cotton bud to clean the area. Run the cotton bud over the eyeliner to remove smudges and make the lines you’ve created more defined, so your eyeliner looks flawless.

Earlier, we talked about how to choose lipstick. In this matter, the composition, form, and “finish” of cosmetics should be taken into account.
