Some love her for her honesty, others don’t like her for that very reason, but one thing is certain: Cathy Hummels (35) often shares raw details from her life on Instagram, even if that’s too much for some. She recently received a lot of shitstorms because she showed her dying grandma.
Now the presenter turned to her followers with another serious topic: Cathy shared a photo on Instagram that she said was taken a year and a half ago. This shows a spindly Cathy standing next to her bike in a pink sports outfit. The ex on Mats Hummels (35) looks extremely thin and appears fragile. She wrote, “1.5 years ago. I hope this never happens to me again. To be honest, I can’t rule it out, but I can be more careful. Recognize warning signs.”
When she is sad, her head can “push these feelings away,” but her body cannot, says the 35-year-old. The body then has to suffer. At the time the picture was taken, she was “very sad.” Cathy admitted, “The previous photo is not pretty. It probably shows me one of the saddest moments of my life.
Believe me, you do that to yourself, not voluntarily, to conform to an ideal of beauty.”
Cathy Hummels: “If life were that simple,”
Cathy seems to have never wanted to look so thin. She simply wanted to look “more normal.” “But if life were that simple,”. She then addressed her followers with an important message: “Please don’t ad hoc judge people who look different.” Instead, you should try to help. “Nasty comments,” on the other hand, make little sense, explained the moderator, who is repeatedly confronted with nasty comments about her weight and appearance.
Cathy Hummels is doing better these days. She “really enjoys seeing such progress in her own body. ” She is currently working hard on building her muscles and has also adjusted her diet.
